3 Kingdoms Online Remastered Officers & Roster Hub
Unit roles, faction tabs, and terrain fit for remastered portraits.
Welcome to the Officers Hub
3 Kingdoms Online Remastered (Chinese title 三國鼎立Online Remastered, Steam AppID 4770830) is a free-to-play turn-based tactical MMO by Chinesegamer, released on Steam on 11 August 2026. It is online multiplayer, Steam-only, with Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese UI only (no English interface). Expect 15v15 boards, ten unit types, 27 terrains, remastered portraits, AI auto-battle, nation war, and campaigns such as Hulao Pass, Guandu, Changban Bridge, and Red Cliffs.
This hub—labeled Officers in navigation—covers the living roster systems behind remastered portraits and the officer encyclopedia. Child pages break down mechanics you will use every session.
Child pages
- Unit Types — all ten roles with practical jobs
- Terrain — how 27 terrains change those roles
- Factions — Wei/Shu/Wu style tabs and collection logic
- Officer Compendium — 武將圖鑑 points, portrait levels, All/Wei/Shu/Wu/Others/Japan tabs
How officers work in practice
An officer is more than a painting. Each brings a unit type, skills, and terrain preferences into turn-based rooms up to 15v15. Launch week gives you shortcuts via Launch Rewards and free Inoti, but long-term strength comes from understanding counters and tiles.
The ten unit types are infantry (步兵), cavalry (騎兵), archers (弓兵), light infantry (輕裝兵), strategists (謀士), medics (藥師), engineers (工兵), taoists (道士), songstresses (歌妓), and barbarians (蠻兵).
Planning a roster without English UI
Use icons, faction tabs, and this English wiki together. When the encyclopedia shows collection scores, claim rewards, then return to combat prep on Beginner Builds or PvP Builds. Faction Comps explains how to keep identity without breaking role coverage.
Link to modes
Test officers on Campaigns, specialize for Nation War, grow them through Internal Affairs, and decide hosting rules via Auto-Battle. Interactive helpers: Unit Counter Tool and Terrain Reference.
Collection tips
Remastered art and AI-assisted portrait disclosure on Steam are part of the product story—some portraits use AI generation per the store page. Collecting still grants progression, but do not empty war banks for binder completion during siege week. Read Launch Notes when new series drop.
Recommended study order
Getting Started → Unit Types → Terrain → Officer Compendium → Factions → build pages. Keep How to Play nearby for deployment habits.

Officers win when roles, tiles, and timing agree. Start with unit types if you are unsure what your free gifts actually do.
Officers hub study path expanded
Read Unit Types until you can name all ten jobs without looking. Read Terrain until you can explain why cavalry fails on certain bridges. Read Factions until you understand collection rewards without mistaking them for combat autopilot. Then build teams on the Tier List hub and stress-test them in Campaigns before Nation War.
Roster hygiene
Keep a war twelve, a farm twelve, and a collection bench. The farm twelve may use auto-battle. The war twelve should not. The bench exists so launch tickets do not force bad combat slots. Revisit Launch Rewards whenever mail adds another officer you did not plan for.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about units, gifts, campaigns, and nation war.
Why is this hub called Officers?
Navigation uses Officers because the roster/portrait systems are the player-facing collectible layer of the remaster.

Do factions matter for beginners?
Secondary to roles. Read Factions after you can field a coherent sustain front line.
Are portraits just cosmetics?
